“The concept and practice of inclusive education have gained importance in recent years. Internationally, the term is increasingly understood more broadly as a reform that supports and welcomes diversity amongst all learners. Inclusive education is not a marginal issue, but is central to the achievement of high-quality education for all learners and the development of more inclusive societies. Inclusive education is essential to achieve social equity and is a constituent element of lifelong learning.”

Applying To Reach British School

Each application is considered individually. Reach British School has an open admissions policy, and the admissions assessment will consider ability to access the curriculum through language, behaviour among peers, and additional learning needs. These are placement tests to give an indication of performance level and language ability, and are not academic entrance tests. They support our placement of students in a way that ensures classes are diverse across gender, language, national status, and additional learning needs.

STEP 1

Complete the application form online, providing a copy of the student’s passport/Emirates ID copy, most recent school or nursery report and confirmation letter.

STEP 2

Your documents will be forwarded to the Head of Department for review and approval.

STEP 3

After reviewing your documents, you will be contacted and offered a conditional offer for your child or if your child requires an online assessment

STEP 4

To accept the offer you must provide outstanding documents and pay the registration fee online to secure your child place at the school

Accepting An Offer

Once a place is offered, you should confirm you accept within 5 days including payment of the registration fee, signing the school’s Offer Letter, and providing all outstanding documents. A Parent Contract will also be provided, setting out the agreement between the school and parents. Once a place is accepted your child will be registered with the school, and the final step before the first day of term will be to pay the school fees and get your new school uniform.

Enrolment In Reach British School

Placement of our new students in classes is carried out by the Heads of School to ensure classes are diverse across gender, language, national status, and additional learning needs. Your new teacher will be in touch directly with all the information you will need, and you will be given a house colour for your sports uniform.

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day!
