Gifted and talented Year 2 student commissioned to paint an art piece

Zainab Al Hashmi, a Year 2 Emirati student at Reach British School, was selected and commissioned to paint an art piece by the school’s owner, International School Partnership. This motivational piece created by our young artist is now standing as a beacon of light in the ISP corporate office in Business Bay, Dubai.

When Zainab was asked what the title of the piece was, her thoughts lingered for a moment and she confidently said “HOPE”. From her words, we hope she will influence others in years to come with her talent and skills as a painter.  Christine Simmonds, Director of Schools for the Gulf, adds that the piece signifies hope that ISP will continue to enable students to follow their dreams and be the best they can be through amazing learning.

The official unveiling of the “HOPE” canvas took place at ISP’s corporate office in Dubai in May 2017. Zainab’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Hashmi, were enthusiastic about their daughter’s talent. Mr. Ali confirms that Zainab is an inspired and prolific artist and their home is full of her art works. She recently had her father’s favourite piece auctioned for charity. Mr. Ali thanked Zainab’s teachers at Reach British School, and the ISP team for recognising and rewarding his daughter’s talent.

Zainab’s dream is to visit London one day to see the work of fellow artists!
