Reach British School is in the south of Abu Dhabi, teaching the National Curriculum for England to ages 3 to 15. The school now has over 1300 students from over 45 different nationalities. We currently teach FS1 to Year 10 (Pre-KG to Grade 9), with Year 11 (Grade 10) opening in September 2018.
Building started in September 2012, and the doors to the school first opened in September 2014 to over 200 children, which quickly grew to 686 by the end of the first term. In September 2015, we welcomed over 1,000 children and doubled our staff numbers. By September 2016, the school had grown again to over 1,200 students, and the campus and student body were a settled and welcoming environment to the new families that joined the school. With more capacity to grow in the Secondary School we will see our numbers grow again in September 2018, when we open Year 11 when students will complete their iGCSE exams.
We pride ourselves on our staff. Nearly all teachers are native English speakers, working alongside our specialist teachers who deliver the Ministry of Education’s Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies curriculum. Learning and teaching standards are constantly observed, and specialist consultants from our British owners, the International Schools Partnership, ensure we are constantly developing to give our students the best environment to develop academically as well as socially. Our Senior Leadership Team are mainly British, bringing years of experience from schools all over the world to our international school.
