listening to her stories and enjoyed her performance using her puppets.

Julia Johnson is a treasure trove of folklore and facts on the UAE. Having lived in the country since 1975, these nuggets of knowledge have naturally found a place in the books she has written for children over the years such as ‘The Pearl Diver’, ‘The Leopard Boy’, and ‘The Turtle Secret’, etc. “THE CAMEL THAT GOT AWAY” is one of the stories that our students enjoyed listening, as Julia used some Puppets.
