Reach British School celebrates outstanding examination results

Reach British School in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi celebrates 2026 A Level and BTEC results, 98% A Level pass rate and 100% BTEC pass rate. Read the full story.

Students at Reach British School are celebrating an impressive set of A Level and BTEC results, marking an important milestone for the Class of 2026.

The Class of 2026 achieved particularly strong outcomes, with 82% of A Level entries awarded A to C grades and a 98% overall pass rate. BTEC Level 3 students also delivered an exceptional 100% pass rate, with 37% of entries achieving Distinction or Distinction*.

2026 A Level and BTEC results at a glance

  • 29% of A Level grades achieved A*–A
  • 82% of A Level grades achieved A*–C
  • 98% overall A Level pass rate
  • 37% of BTEC Level 3 entries achieved Distinction–Distinction*
  • 100% overall BTEC Level 3 pass rate

Student achievement continues to strengthen across both pathways, with 82% of A Level entries achieving A to C grades, up from 60% in 2024, while BTEC Level 3 Distinction* results increased from 5% in 2025 to 23% in 2026, alongside a 100% BTEC pass rate.

Among this year’s standout performances:

A Levels:

  • Youssef Elsheikh – A*AA
  • Malikah Erlangga – A*AAB
  • Michael Elfakouri – AAB
  • Zinnerah Khan – AAC

 

BTEC:

  • Ghalia Belfaiez – D*D* (BTEC Enterprise) plus a B in A-Level History
  • Rumaisa Mourad – D*D* (BTEC Enterprise) plus an A in AS Psychology
  • Ayman Awadalseed – MM (BTEC Applied Science) plus an A in A-Level Chemistry

 

In BTEC Enterprise (Business), all students (100%) obtained a Merit or higher.

“I feel extremely proud and happy with my results this year, and I’m truly grateful for the invaluable support my teachers provided. They guided and supported me every step of the way. I’m going to be joining AURAK this fall, where I’ll be studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering.”

University Destinations for the Class of 2026

As an international school in Abu Dhabi Students are now preparing for the next stage of their education journeys, with members of the Class of 2026 progressing to leading universities internationally and in the UAE to pursue subjects and pathways including Dentistry, Mechanical Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Investment Banking, International Management, Business and Marketing.

Notable destinations this year include University College London (UCL), the University of Manchester, the University of Bristol, the University of Glasgow, the University of Toronto, the University of Ottawa, and the University of Reading, as well as the University of Jordan for Dentistry.

Students have also secured opportunities at Russell Group universities, including UCL, the University of Manchester, the University of Bristol and the University of Glasgow, highlighting the ambition and academic achievement of the Class of 2026.
